Our Business

We provide for those who can't provide for themselves.  While our concentration is on the homeless, when we have an event we will serve whoever stands in line. 

It is our charge to help others.  We are blessed so that we can be a blessing.

Who We Are

" B About It Cares" is the brainchild of the founder "B."  In 2007 "B" moved from Harlem, NY to Newark, NJ and realized there was a huge homeless population living in and around the Newark Penn Station.  She decided she wanted to help them in some way so she purchased the items necessary to make some bologna and cheese sandwiches.  That day she made 53 sandwiches and took them down to the station.  She did not do it for kudos; she did it because she wanted to.  In 2010 she held her first event down near the station where she provided a hot meal for the homeless and those in need.  From that time, until now, "B" hosts an event for Easter and Thanksgiving.  Not only is a hot meal provided, but clothes and toiletries are handed out as well.  During the winter months when the temperature drops below zero "B" can be found handing out blankets around the station.
